Group Gallery Show (Studio 2-1)

Explore a beautifully curated display of painting, textiles, ceramics, and glass from current 618 ARTlington artists, plus special guest, former 618 Artist, Bev Pike.

Curated by Danielle Fontaine Koslowsky and Rye Leeside, and hosted in the studio of Louise Anderson Photo + Media.

Breakout Room (Studio 2-2)

Short sessions designed to spark inspiration, creativity, and connection, sponsored by Honey Dill Print & WOOL MOUNTAIN.

Visit Wesley Krahn of Glasstorations and Laura Hilland of Laura Hilland Glassworks, where you might be able to catch some stained or fused glass demos throughout the day!

Breakout Sessions

Short sessions designed to spark inspiration, creativity, and connection, hosted in Studio 2-2, the shared space of Honey Dill Print and WOOL MOUNTAIN. Led by different artists to give WiP attendees a chance to take a seat, recharge, and discover something new.

  • 10–11am | Sketch an Owl

    Join Prairie Wildlife Rehab and draw alongside a real live owl! Sponsored by WOOL MOUNTAIN. (self-directed activity)

  • 11:30am-12:30pm | Raising Navajo-Churro Sheep

    Shirley Harvey (of White Spruce Heritage Farm) is a fledgling fibre artist and shepherdess, with a focus on the use and promotion of rare Navajo-Churro wool in her woven art and felted art.

  • 1–2pm | Your Life as Art

    Hayley Harris guides a session on yoga, breathwork, and meditation exploring the idea that life itself is a work of art.

  • 2:30-3:30pm | Art & Dating

    An interactive session blending creativity and conversation with MightyMel.

  • 4–5pm | Wool Tufting

    Learn the basics of tufting with WOOL MOUNTAIN in this tactile, creative demo.

Sessions are free, first-come, first-serve. Table seating for 20, with extra stools and standing room available.


In-Studio Demos (throughout the day, no set hours)

See the magic happen in real time! Several artists will be working right in their studios so you can watch, ask questions, and experience their creative process up close.

Family-friendly activities

This event is for all ages! Bring the whole family and enjoy hands-on activities, live art demos, and plenty to explore together. Please note: Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times for all activities.

Postcard Stamp Hunt

Start your visit by picking up a free postcard at the door (while supplies last) and collect stamps as you explore each floor. Visit these studios for stamps:

Then stop by the coloring table on the third floor to decorate your card, and take home a keepsake of your day at the studios!

From 10–11am in Studio 2-2, join Prairie Wildlife Rehab and draw alongside a real live owl! Sponsored by WOOL MOUNTAIN (Free, self-directed activity, max. capacity 20)

Photo Booth & Cotton Candy

Capture the moment and enjoy a sweet treat with Apple Box Photo Booth. ($5 per photo print and $5 per cotton candy)

Bead Bar

In studio 3-7 you can create a one-of-a-kind keepsake with glass beads ($25 per pen or keychain)
